Using SciFinder with Chrome

In case you have users with problems logging in to SciFinder, check to see if they're using Chrome. Sometimes there's a way to fix the problem (see below) although some things in SciFinder apparently just don't work in Chrome. The vendor is aware of the problem and hopefully will be addressing it soon.

The only problem I am aware of is that Chrome is very aggressive in blocking pop ups and otherwise limiting features. From what my Chrome users tell me, once they remove those types of barriers, SciFinder generally works well. As with most browsers, you don't necessarily get proper warnings/error messages. It can simply look like the feature/button does not work.
