RefWorks and Internet Explorer 9 Issues
I received an email through medref regarding issues with RefWorks and Internet Explorer (specifically Internet Explorer 9). For this particular patron, she was not able to edit the title field for manually entered citations, although I have heard rumblings of other IE-related issues with RefWorks. This appears to be a known issue, and I was able to find some information on other library websites regarding this problem.
Under the "News from Refworks" section you should find directions on how to try and fix the issue from this University of Calgary website: http://library.ucalgary.ca/research-support/citing-writing/refworks
As you can read on the University of Calgary website (or a number of other websites if you just google the problem), the solution seems to be turning on the Compatibility View in IE. Here are directions directly from Microsoft on using the Compatibility View: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/How-to-use-Compatibility-View-in-Internet-Explorer-9
