Scheduled outage and platform improvements on Elsevier's ScienceDirect, Scopus, Hub & Apps

We are keen on making our users’ experience of the SciVerse suite of products as smooth, friendly, and effective as possible. For this reason we listen to our user’s feedback and plan new releases to improve the functionality. To implement these changes, we occasionally need to schedule an outage.

*ScienceDirect, Scopus, Hub, Applications, SciVal, Journals Consult and the Admin Tool are expected to be offline and unavailable for approximately 19 hours beginning Saturday, August 25th, 2012 for scheduled maintenance for a new release. * What are the changes you will see with this new release?

ScienceDirect: Effortless access to relevant information thanks to a new design for journal article and book chapter pages as well as improved user experience for RSS feeds, image search, and other features.

Scopus: Easy updates with Alerts Features functionality improvement.

Hub: Faster and friendlier search capability through several new features.

New York Time: 7:30 AM EDT Saturday, August 25th - 2:30 AM EDT, Sunday, August 26th London Time: 12:30 PM GMT Saturday, August 25th - 7:30 AM Sunday, August 26th Singapore Time: 7:30 PM SGT Saturday, August 25th - 2:30 PM SGT Sunday, August 26th We encourage you to share this information with your users to minimize the impact of the outage to their research and teaching schedule.
