Hello Again, Lincoln

Today I'm going to tell you two things I think you should know about college. Remember, if you have any questions, please feel free to ask them.

First of all, college is different from high school in that there is no one telling you every day you have to go to class. Once you come to college, you are considered an adult. Making it to class every day, and doing the work is all up to you. It might sound like fun, but you have to be able to keep yourself motivated, or you will quickly fall behind.

The second thing is that your classes are going to be less about memorizing stuff, and more about thinking about what you are being taught. You will discuss in class, and you will write a lot of papers, so make sure you pay attention in your English class!

Now, I'm going to ask you a question. I hope you will answer. What do you plan to do once you've finished school? Go to college? Go straight into a job somewhere? Travel? Tell me what your plans are after you finish high school.

In Peace
Michael
