We have all heard the rumor that men, on average, think about sex every seven seconds. You may have heard different amounts, but the fact of the matter is that this is this is not a scientifically proven statement. Kinsey Institutes reported a study that shows that 54% of men think about sex every day or several times a day, this is just slightly more than half of the men population, so not every man. In a study done by Ohio State University, men ranging from 18-25 years old thought about sex, on average, 19 times a day. It is believed that men think about sex more than women because they are physically wired to be more sexually motivated. This is a difficult study to conduct because in the Ohio State study, men ranged from thinking about sex once a day to 388 times a day! That is a huge range, and it was based on the age group that is most sexually driven. Overall, the thought that men think about sex every seven seconds is not scientifically proven, meaning this claim is falsifiable.
