In 2008, a partnership was developed between Anoka County Parks and the Anoka County Master Gardeners. Since the beginning, the Master Gardeners have acquired the plants through donations. They have also been responsible for designing, maintaining and developing educational programs and research trials around the garden each year.
In 2012 the Master Gardeners offer a series of classes held in garden. This series is called "A Walk in the Garden." Please look for their class schedule by clicking on Walk in the Garden
In 2010, the theme was: "Edible Landscapes" Learn how to incorporate vegetables and fruits into your flower garden for aesthetics and function.
The garden is open to the public during regular park hours. Tours can be arranged by calling the General Information Line at 763-755-1280
