Anoka County Master Gardeners partner with Habitat for Humanity to help support their mission of providing simple, decent affordable housing for hard-working low- income families.
Master Gardeners have assisted with plant selection and design for properties of all sizes, from single family homes to large 8-plexes with plant and tree products that are donated by other sponsoring organizations.
Master Gardeners also supervise large groups of volunteers during the implementation of the landscape design and work directly with the homeowners on proper care and maintenance of their lawns and gardens.
People wanting to volunteer for Habitat for Humanity on their landscaping or building projects can find information at: Habitat for Humanity
