Carver/Scott Master Gardeners are available as speakers at your events. Please contact Jackie Smith, Program Coordinator, at 952-466-5309, to make arrangements, but the following provides some general guidelines:
Classes taught by Master Gardeners (MGs) when public is not charged, and pays no dues to the sponsoring organization: No charge (Honorariums are always accepted)
Classes taught by MGs when public is charged and/or Members pay dues:
Minimum donation per class: $25.00 (Only if MG involved is willing to teach the class for fewer than 5 attendees)
Standard donation per person attending: $5.00 (MGs are not required to teach a class with fewer than 10 participants. Registration deadline is by mutual agreement between the MG and the requesting group)
Demonstration/Presentation at Commercial Business:
Minimum donation for 1 MG, 1 hour presentation: $ 75.00 (Fee for shorter times negotiable)
