Now that you have decided to have a garden, how do you choose where to place it?
There are several main things to consider when selecting a site. They are the following.
1. Sunlight: the site should get 6-8 hours of sunlight each day.
2. Stay away from low spots in the yard. You don't want a garden in sitting water.
3. Place it near the house. This way you will be encouraged to tend to it everyday.
4. Stay away from trees and shrubs so their roots and shade will not interfere with your garden
