(Late this afternoon.) Mild. Large patches of clumping cumulus, blue sky, sprinkles; good breeze from the southwest, just cresting waves on the northern half of the lake. A few dozen coots sticking close to the southeast shore; occasional mallards; a turtle perched on a rock in the southwest bay. Four gulls paddling into the breeze near the north shore and dozens farther out. Paths busy with runners and walkers. Trees and brush now mostly green, the brown leaves along the creek now mostly covered with fresh vegetation. Creek quite low.
