Lake Harriet

Patchy pools of water standing on the lake, reflecting patchy clouds overhead. Southwest inlet open again; robin on the west bank; bird calls from the northern marsh; mallard paddling in the northeast drainage marsh; the sound but not the sight of geese to the west. A couple of mallards sunning on the east bank of the creek. Snow vanishing from both banks, occasional sprigs of green showing through the wet leaves.
