Red oak growing in woodland edge

Q. rubra- edited.jpg
What? These are red oak (Quercus rubra) leaves from a tree growing at the edge of a field-forest transition
Where? Afton State Park
So? Not long after seeing the bur oak, I came across this tree. In my experience, both are the two most commonly found oak species in the state. There are a few others in Minnesota, but I most often come across these.
