I work in the McNeal hall computer lab. There is a large scale plotter as you can see in the picture. This morning it decided to stop working. I had had to cancel a plot because the colors were wrong, but the plotter just stopped instead of ending the job. I tried everything that I am taught to try. I pressed the cancel button on the plotter (multiple times), I went in to the printer spool on the computer and clicked cancel, I tried getting in to the menu on the plotter, nothing worked. I even tried calling my boss a couple of times, no answer. So I went to the last resort... flipping the switch and turning it off. Then I turned it back on, and waited for the lovely 10 minutes that it takes to reboot. I then made sure the wrong job was cancelled, and the correctly colored plot was going through. It was a long process but it worked in the end.
