Girl kicked off flight for coughing fit--By: Hannah Mikels

A 16-year-old Hawaiian girl was kicked off her flight home from a school trip in New York, according to Business Week.
Rachel Collier caught a cold during her trip and was removed from the Continental Airlines plane due to a coughing fit as it was about to take off from Newark, N.J., for Honolulu earlier this week, according to wcco.com.
The flight attendants gave her water, and a doctor gave her the OK to make the 10-hour trip, yet the captain still returned the airplane to the gate to drop off the girl and one of her teacher's according to startribune.com.
The captain felt he was acting in the best interest of the girl and the other passengers on the flight, according to Business Week.
Continental reimbursed the two for the accommodations they were forced to make in New York and for the trip home the next day, according to wcco.com.
