Mauer sidelined with stress reaction--By: Hannah Mikels

Minnesota Twins catcher Joe Mauer will sit out for a few days for treatment due to a stress reaction in his left fibula, according to kare11.com.
The injury is a precursor to a stress fracture, and nothing more serious was found with an MRI, according to wcco.com.
The Twins discovered the injury after Mauer complained of soreness in his leg, according to kstp.com.
Mauer suffered a knee injury to the same leg in his 2004 rookie season, according to wcco.com.
Mauer will undergo physical therapy and treatment with a bone stimulator before being re-evaluated Sunday, according to kstp.com.
