New iPhone App from Gale: AccessMyLibrary

from Gale:

There's deep knowledge nearby when you locate and unlock the rich, relevant resources of your public library.

It is as simple as using the AccessMyLibrary mobile app from Gale, a world-leading publisher of reference information.

AccessMyLibrary uses your global position to locate libraries within a 10-mile radius, then will give you access to reputable online resources.

from EBSCO:

On 29 December 2009, EBSCO will introduce a new way to alert you of the availability of new issues of an e-journal in EBSCO A-to-Z®. RSS feeds have been created for all of the e-journal titles currently available through EBSCO A-to-Z Table of Contents Browsing. These RSS feeds will allow your institution to monitor specific titles for new issues in real-time; once a new issue is published, it will be pushed out via the RSS feed. The RSS feed will also offer a formatted view of the articles contained in the latest issue. To access any of the articles, you can simply click on the link from within your RSS feed reader program.

You can subscribe to the RSS feed for an individual journal by accessing the A-to-Z Reader site and viewing the journal in Table of Contents Browsing. The orange RSS icon will appear to the right of the journal's title on the main e-journal page, the Table of Contents page for the e-journal, or on any article details page. Click the RSS icon to access the feed and add it to your preferred RSS feed reader program.

If you have any questions about setting up RSS feeds for a particular e-journal, please contact Customer Satisfaction.

Questions? Contact EBSCO Customer Satisfaction. Phone: (800) 758-5995 (U.S.A. and Canada). Support is available 24 hours a day, Monday through Friday. Email: customercare@ebsco.com.
