Our new Britannica Online Academic Edition is now live. The response to the new, more engaging interface and enhanced search and discovery has been positive.
However, a number of our subscribers using EZProxy are experiencing difficulties. While we allow remote users to search our database through proxy server, we cannot at this time certify all functionality of the Britannica Online Academic Edition through the EZProxy proxy servers. With the release of the new version of Britannica Online Academic Edition, we highly recommend incorporating "settings" listed below into your current EZProxy configuration file (config.txt). Once you have updated your configuration file, restart EZProxy to make the change take effect. Then test to see whether or not the issue is resolved.
