EBSCO eBook Announcement

from EBSCO:

With the growing demand for libraries to provide a wide range of conveniently-accessible electronic resources (including eBooks) to their patrons/users, EBSCO is pleased to announce an exciting change to our eBook pricing. Beginning February 1, 2012, eBooks and audiobooks from EBSCO will be made available to institutions with no markup in cost and no additional access fees. This development will allow customers to derive even more value from their existing eBook budgets and provide a greater number of titles to their users.

This pricing change comes in the midst of EBSCO's Grow Your Collection on Us program, which continues to offer libraries 5% back on eBooks purchased through March 31, 2012.

As an additional benefit, EBSCO is also providing libraries with free access to Adobe Content Server, making it even easier for libraries to allow end users to download eBooks.
