Credo Releases 19 New and Updated Collections

September 5, 2013, Boston, Oxford - Credo, the industry leader for information skills solutions, has launched 19 new and updated Subject and Publisher Collections, adding to the more than 80 collections currently available for perpetual purchase or subscription.

Credo's new collections help librarians grow their reference shelves through their Literati or Credo Online Reference Service solutions. The newly released collections include:

  • Intelecom Intelligent Telecommunications: The first all-video Credo collection that offers multidisciplinary coverage, this collection features 12 richly descriptive visual reference sources that cover a variety of major subjects, such as Sociology, History, Psychology and Health.
  • Anthropology Collection: This multi-publisher collection features 40 titles that address key areas of study within the Anthropology discipline, including Archaeology, Biological Anthropology and Ethnography, among others. With two CHOICE Outstanding Academic Titles award winners, one Library Journal award winner and four Resources for College Libraries selections, this collection is well-represented with top-tier content.
  • Sociology Collection: This collection compiles 39 compelling reference titles covering a range of key topics within the Sociology discipline, including Social Change, Social Psychology, Social Work, Race & Ethnicity and Urban Sociology. With one Outstanding Academic Titles winner, one RUSA winner and three Resources for College Libraries recommendations, the collection offers appealing, highly vetted content.
Credo has also released updates to 15 existing Subject and Publisher Collections, including the Criminal Justice Collection, the Psychology Collection, the Nursing and Allied Health Collection and the Gender and Women's Studies Collection.
