Introductory PsycINFO Training

from APA:

The American Psychological Association is pleased to invite you to attend a PsycINFO Webinar. We offer a 50-minute webinar titled introduction to the APA research databases" on several popular search platforms.

Introductory Training is intended primarily for students who have not yet had a research methods class, though it is also useful for librarians, faculty, and researchers who are not familiar with the APA databases or are accessing them on a platform that is new to them. It will provide an overview of the APA research databases and the platform features and show you how to manage your results, create alerts, and set up personal accounts.

In addition, it will demonstrate how to craft searches that make use of controlled and natural language and the fields and limits available in the databases.

We encourage librarians and instructors to arrange Webinar sessions for students. If the prearranged times below are not convenient, please contact us to arrange a custom session.

If this session is appropriate for you, please email psycinfowebinars@apa.org with "Introductory Training" in the subject line, indicating the session you wish to attend. All times are listed in Eastern Time.
