Leadership is possessing the ability to successfully communicate with those in which you lead. Successful communication involves understanding and appreciating the complexity of communication, having the willingness to move past any barriers between oneself as a leader to those following you, and to continue to pursue that open communication.
Leadership is having the continuous desire for the capacity of change relative to one's leadership expansion. Possessing the continuous desire for change leads to success as a leader in that various leadership styles are being explored in various ways.

I am starting to recognize that there are a plethora of leadership traits that are important. I think the most challenging part of being a leader is to encompass traits that bring out the best in those you are leading and that is a difficult task. Leadership means to lead in a way that motivates and inspires those who are following you to contribute in a meaningful way to the task at hand.
