Libraries in Medical Education is among the special interest groups in the Central Group on Educational Affairs, a regional group in the Association of American Medical Colleges. They offer continuing medical education courses at the annual meeting and sponsor panel discussions as part of the regular program.
The American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) has an Engineering Libraries Division (ELD). As the name of the parent group indicates, ELD is concerned with supporting engineering education. ELD has an active listserv that is open to non-members as well as ELD members, ELDNET-L.
