Tonight: Two Spirits - Film Screening, Discussion & Gallery Reception

Two Spirits interweaves the tragic story of a mother's loss of her son with a revealing look at a time when the world wasn't simply divided into male and female and many Native American cultures held places of honor for people of integrated genders.

Following the film, Richard LaFortune, co-founder of Two Spirit Press Room, which serves to increase awareness of the Two Spirit culture, will facilitate a discussion. Afterwards, attendees may move to the Larson Art Gallery and enjoy refreshments until 9:30pm.

The event is presented to you by SUA, AISCC, GLBTA Programs Office, QSCC, COIN, Tongues Untied, CFANS Office for Diversity and Inclusion, St. Paul Campus GLBTA Advisory Group, MANRRS, Transgender Commission and the University Libraries.
