This summer, Teach For America will run eleven Institutes across in communities across the country - in Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Mississippi Delta, New York City, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Memphis, Jacksonville and Tulsa. Institute is designed to train new corps members and prepare them to assume full-time teaching responsibilities in the fall. We are looking for outstanding underclassmen to serve as operations coordinators (OCs) at each of these Institutes.

OCs play an integral role in the daily operations of our program and gain unique insight into Teach For America. OCs work in a variety of Institute functional areas including transportation, housing and communications. This is a paid internship; Compensation includes room, board, and some travel costs.

Moreover, OCs have a unique opportunity to observe Teach For America's operations and approach to teacher and leadership development from an inside vantage. (It's no surprise that many OCs go on to be successful applicants and corps members.)

Here are some simple next steps to learn more and begin the application process.

1. Review the attached OC job description.
2. Click here to register for an application .
