Huntley House Seeking Peer Mentors

The Office for Equity and Diversity is accepting applications for the Huntley House Peer Mentor for the Fall 2013 / Spring 2014 Academic Year. Information on the Huntley House can be found at: http://aaas.umn.edu/ugrad/huntleyhouse.html.

The Peer Mentor position is a great opportunity for leadership, professional and personal development. The priority application deadline is May 24, 2013, the final deadline is June 7, 2013.

New international students at the University of Minnesota often have a lot of questions and concerns during their first weeks on campus. The International Buddy Program (IBP) eases the transition, with current undergraduate students helping new international undergraduate students.

    Students for Design Thinking Workshop

    Student Input Needed!

    The University will be launching a new web portal in late 2014 and we need your input.

    What is a portal? The portal is an easy-to-use interactive web tool that facilitates access to information and services that are of primary relevance and interest to the individual user. It will replace the current MyU portal and integrate features of OneStop and other functionality.

    Attend a design thinking workshop!

    Design Thinking @ College of Design in partnership with the portal team will lead participants through a process of observation, brainstorming, synthesizing, prototyping, and evaluating towards the goal of identifying and ranking possible design elements and portal features for the new U of M portal.

    Space is limited but still available for:
