Coffee perk: Lower diabetes risk

Good news for coffee drinkers: Drinking four or more cups of the brew per day may lower the risk of Type 2 diabetes.

The finding comes from an 11-year study of more than 28,000 postmenopausal women who answered questions about risk factors for diabetes, such as age, body mass index, physical activity, diet, and smoking.
