Health Careers Journeys for Women: Health Careers Fair in NW Minnesota

Calling all women from 8th grade to your 8th decade in Northwest Minnesota!
- Have you ever wondered what a career in health care would be like?
- If you are in health care, have you considered exploring a different facet of the industry?
- Do you know a woman with the personality to be an excellent worker in health care?
- Do you know someone that you could mentor in the health care field?

If you answered yes, to any of the above,
then The First Step: Health Careers Journeys for Women
is the event for you !

The NW MN Women’s Foundation in partnership with the UMC Office for Students with Disabilities and UMC Student Health are proudly supporting the NW MN Area Health Education Center, a program of RiverView Healthcare Association in an effort to encourage women to explore a career in health.

Join us on Saturday, March 29th from 9:00-3:00 at Bede Ballroom in the Student Center on the University of Minnesota, Crookston campus

Expect a fun-filled day of speaking to and learning from women who are professionals in a variety of health career fields. Meet students who are at various points in their health career journey from recently graduated from high school to student who returned after a long career in a non-health field. Meet the admissions staff and financial aid staff who can help you understand the process of college admissions and funding.
