Jon Jeffryes and Meghan Lafferty Published
Jon Jeffryes and Meghan Lafferty recently published, "Gauging Workplace Readiness: Assessing the Information Needs of Engineering Co-op Students," in the open access peer-reviewed section of "Issues in Science & Technology Librarianship," available at: http://www.istl.org/12-spring/refereed2.html .  Their article discusses survey results about the cooperative education workplace experience of University of Minnesota engineering students.  The analysis will inform work in integrating information skills into the engineering curriculum, both here and elsewhere, judging by interest from colleagues at other institutions.  Jon will be speaking about their study at the American Library Association (ALA) 2012 Annual Conference and Exhibition in an Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) SciTech session.  Congratulations to both of them!
