Testing a Stapler!

A very common question in the interviews these days (esp. for a testing position) is "How would you test a XXXXX". Here is a link where Mike Kelley listed out 144 test cases to test a Stapler. In all my previous interviews, I never thought about "Parallel testing", "Usability testing" etc..

Hi Sandeep,

Recently I am running a series of "How to Test xxxxx" posts in my blog. I have already completed 4 such posts actually. Click here [http://software-testing-zone.blogspot.com/2007/07/how-to-test-microwave-oven.html] to take a look at them.

Happy Testing...

Yeah this kind of questions I often ask in the interview.

ex: How to test a TV remote control and to test that what kind of information you will ask from client ( the user guide).

Thanks
