myself ankit dubey.I am a J2ME developer.I have developed 2 Applications in j2me and one game.Now the problem is i want to remain in application development field and i couldn't get one job in application development.Most jobs are in game development.Should i emphasis to the Gaming.

Hi, u seems to be very much interested in gaming. I want to develop a game application which has user interface through voice input/output. I have got J2ME2.2 . how i can go with that? Can you suggest me a way where i can start? because i need to attach headset and mic for testing and developing but i m not finding any way how to do that with J2ME..

Although Java games look nice they are very slow. I'm fan of C++ and prefer to stick with it at the moment. Nice Links by the way !

That's a useful list for beginners; although, you missed a few sites I found useful for certain parts/problems.
Everyone knows about Nokia's quality documentation and tutorials. Sony Ericsson also do some nice white papers and tutorials for more specific tasks.
Supreme J2ME - Good general tips on this site.
My own site has useful help for setting up J2ME Polish and some other advice.
