How's it Work?
This entry explains a little bit about how blogs work and also how you can use this blog. It's really easier than you think!
There are three kinds of things in a blog:

Listing Pages: The listing pages are just lists of entries in the blog – usually containing most of the post
All of the Index and Category pages, in addition to listing entries, also have lots of navigational aids on the righthand side.
Entry: An entry is a sort of “main topic” of conversation. It has its own web page separate from the pages that just list entries. And entry is a good way to start a discussion. If your entry is long, you should probably write it offline and then cut and paste it into the form.
To post new entries: http://blog.lib.umn.edu
- Log in
- Click “new entry” next to the blog or within the blog itself
- Title and Categorize your entry.
- Enter your text in “Entry”, if it’s long put most of it in “extended entry”
- When you’re done, click “publish”
Comment: A comment is attached to an entry. That than bringing up an entirely new topic, it's related to the entry.
