The University of Minnesota insists that it wants to be a TOP 3 research institution, however, it does not have one library open 24 hours a day. This differs from many other campuses most notably Georgetown. The University needs to realize that because 50,000 people go to campus, they have different study schedules. Some people study the best at night. In fact, people that are serious about studying even study Friday night. The University, however, insists on denying students ability to study outside of their residence. This needs to change if the University wants to obtain the respect it demands! What do you think?
