-In-progress critique - Have a minimum of 4 images to share with the class. You may upload them to the server and present them from the front computer using Bridge. These need not be finished images, but they should be far enough along so that we can get a good sense of the direction of your project. The class will offer feedback and help with editing, but please know that we will only have about 7 minutes per person so keep it brief.

Your proposal is due at the beginning of class on Thursday, April 12th and should be about 300 words in length and describe who you will photograph, where, when, how, and why you plan to photograph that person/group of people. Please be specific! If you plan to follow Parts A, B, and C of the assignment, you do not need to submit a proposal.

A few of you have noticed issues with shooting in cold weather. Here's a tip about avoiding condensation build up when bringing your camera in from the cold:

Let your camera warm up slowly. Place it on a cool windowsill or an unheated porch for a couple of hours so it can rise slowly to room temperature. Condensation can play havoc with an all-electronic camera. This is where the suggestion of wrapping a cold camera in a plastic bag comes into play. The moisture will settle on the outside of the bag rather than on the camera's outside and inside surfaces. You can protect the delicate electronics this way. In fact, it's best if you place the bag on the camera while still outside, not when you bring the camera in.
