Rodents

I think we can solve this issue of rodents by calling the group, "The Tarheels," don't you?

New Name for Our Group

There is NO WAY that our group will be called "Badgers". If we must be a member of the rodent family, the ONLY option is the Golden Gopher.

New Name for Our Group

There are twenty (20) individuals roaming around campus who are affiliated with the Multicultural Summer Research Opportunity Program (MSROP), the Civil Engineering Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU), and the National Center for Earth-Surface Dynamics. The group includes a writing specialist, a graduate administrative fellow, and a very strange lady who keeps acting like she is in charge of something.

This group is in need of a unifying name. It gets old to have to say all three program names every time we want to share information. This is an invitation for creative and/or smart people to suggest a name for us. The new name does not have to be serious, just legal and in good taste.

Please post your entry on the MSROP – Summer 2007 Blog Page. Entries should be posted by Monday, June 25, 2007. The entries will be voted upon at the Seminar scheduled for the afternoon of June 25, 2007. The winning entry MAY receive an award.

Sincerely,

The Strange Lady Who Thinks She is in Charge of Something
