Mathmatical Design

Set balancing upon each other, a house of cards with such a basic form of design still uses and is enforced by mathematical rules, whether they are intentionally used, or unconsciously set aside to work themselves. If you plan on building a structure that is undoubtedly important, whether its just the cost of materials being used or the meaning of the building, math will be used to ensure the building doesnt just simply collapse like a house of cards. Throughout the following will be a series of images that demonstrate the use of math in structures, from start to finish.

As the pictures demonstrate, the use of math throughout the process of designing, not only buildings but all of that which is designed as a whole, mathematical procedure helps to ensure the quality to create a product which is anywhere from just satisfactory to extraordinary, like the pyramid shown below.
