Beauty sleep helps the heart

Swedish researchers looked over 20 years of research and found that heart attacks declined the week after turning the clocks back, because people got an extra hour of sleep. The opposite was found of turning the clocks ahead. The hour loss of sleep seemed to cause an increase in heart attacks the following week.

“We spend a third of our lives sleeping and people forget how much effect it has on overall health,? said Dr. Imre Janszky of the Karolinska Institute.
