The readings for this week contain very different ideas about the ways in which art is considered to be of value. Choose one passage from this week's readings with which you either strongly agree or disagree about what you personally feel makes a work of art valuable. All class participants will be expected to share the passage they have chosen, and talk about what made it resonate so powerfully.
