Congratulations to U of M School of Music McKnight Fellowship Winners
U of M School of Music professor John Snow (oboe), recently won the 2011/2012 McKnight Artist Fellowships for Performing Musicians administered by MacPhail Center for Music. These fellowships are intended to reward artistic excellence and to support performing musicians who have reached a critical point in their career development. A McKnight Fellowship can help an artist set aside periods of time for study, reflection, experimentation, and exploration; take advantage of an opportunity; or work on a new project. Congratulations to SOM composition student Jeremy Wagner (student of James Dillon) who is a recipient of this year's McKnight Composition Fellowship.
