Tenor Section Leader for Church

St. Clement's Episcopal Church in St. Paul is looking for a tenor to serve as paid Choral Scholar for the coming season. The Choir of St. Clement's sings classic repertoire from the Renaissance, 20th century, and other periods, on a weekly basis for worship.

Our newly-hired bass Choral Scholar, after the first rehearsal this fall, said, "Wow, you guys ARE good." I answered, "I told you we do good work."

Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm. The Choir sings one service on Sunday mornings. We also sing four Evensongs and several special church services during the season. Upcoming repertoire includes Byrd, Leighton, Duruflé, Howells, and Gibbons.

Interested singers should contact the Director of Music, Dr. Mark Stahura (stahuram@gmail.com) for more information and to arrange an audition.
