Pianist - Soloist, Duo or Trio for Dinner Party

We are hosting a dinner party on Thursday, May 15. It is a formal dinner for fourteen guests including President Kaler and Mrs. Kaler.

The home is in St. Paul, not far from the University (about 2.5 miles). We have a grand piano that I guarantee will be in excellent playing condition.

We would like some entertainment during the per-dinner "cocktail hour" that would mostly be background entertainment. I would also be interested in having a short performance (1- 2 numbers, depending on length) during the dinner.

I don't have any pre-conceived ideas but it would be nice to have the piano used for at least some the time and, of course, the musical selections should be consistent with what would be enjoyable in the context of an intimate dinner setting.

**Revised** Cellist and Pianist for Wedding

Looking for a cellist and possibly a piano player to play at a wedding at 3 pm Saturday June 21 in Minneapolis. We would probably like some classical and some more modern relaxing music, but we are somewhat open on styles depending on who we find. We are looking for a few simple hymns also. We are especially excited if there is a cellist and pianist who are already used to playing together and feel comfortable working together.
We would probably need you from about 2:30 pm to not later than 4:30 pm.
Compensation negotiable.

Please contact cara.jaehnke@gmail.com if you are interested.

Musicians Needed for Musical

Coon Rapids High School Theatre Department is putting on the musical "All Shook Up", -- a fantastic musical blending the story of Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night" with the music of Elvis Presley. While we have most of the parts covered, we need some strong, capable musicians to fill in some gaps.

Parts needed:

2 guitarists, both involving the need to be able to read music (no tabs readers, please), and both books involve acoustic and electric guitar.

1 keyboardist
, the Keyboard II book, involving mostly synth organ parts- we can provide the synth keyboard if necessary.

1 trumpet, playing the Trumpet 1 book, must have strong endurance and high range (notes are usually above the staff, pushing up normally into the D-F above the high C).

The show itself is May 1-3, and May 8-10 with two performances on the 10th. If possible, availability for rehearsals April 21st (time TBD), and April 28-29 (6-10pm) and April 30 (5-8pm) is highly preferred.

If interested, contact Charlie Morgan (band director at Coon Rapids High School)
charles.morgan@anoka.k12.mn.us

We can discuss payment for services rendered at that time, as well.
