Musicians for Memorial Service

We are looking for musicians to perform at a memorial service on Sunday, August 10th at 3pm at the Woman's Club of Minneapolis (nearing Loring Park).

We are looking for a string quartet, violinist and pianist, or even a pianist only. We realize the time is short for rehearsals of any specific requested music. Our aunt was an avid enthusiast of classical music and opera and we would like to work with musicians to put together a short program for the memorial.

We don't have a specific program in mind, but some thoughts:

- Beethoven - late quartet selections, sonatas
- Bach - anything the musicians choose
- Brahms - anything the musicians choose
- Dvorak - quartet or trio pieces
- Strauss - any transcriptions for the setting
- Any selections from operas. She was a big Wagner fan. We realize this music is not often played outside of opera/orchestra settings.

Interested musicians should contact John at belew2003@earthlink.net
