Watch "Leaving California"

Leaving California, the only place I know (only place I know)
To start a brand new life in a place so far from home (so far from home)
Big sky, no sun to ease my pain (ease my pain)
No well known friends around to keep me sane. (keep me sane)

Why did we move, why couldn't we stay? (why can't we stay?)
Why did we have to leave, why did we move away? (why did we move away?)
Leaving California (Ooo, Ooo)
Leaving California (Ooo, Ooo)
Leaving California (Ooo, Ooo)

Growing up isn't easy, I'm up against the wall (up against the wall)
Did the only thing I could think of, made a bet too big to call (too big to call)
Pride's got the best of me, can't take it back now (can't take it back)
Only time will tell if he'll catch or let it fall (catch or let it fall)

Why did we move, why couldn't we stay? (why can't we stay?)
Why did we have to leave, why did we move away? (why did we move away?)
Leaving California (Ooo, Ooo)
Leaving California (Ooo, Ooo)
Leaving California (Ooo, Ooo)

Snow was falling hard so I just threw and let it soar (let it soar)
Now it's up to my best friend, in the end he'll settle the score (settle the score)
I guess things aren't so bad, got my family here with me (they're here with me)
Montana is my brand new home, it's where I'm meant to be (where I'm meant to be)

Maybe it was time to move, time to move away (time to move away)
So I'm leaving California and MAYBE THAT'S OKAY
Leaving California (Ooo, Ooo)
Leaving California (Ooo, Ooo)
Leaving California (Ooo, Ooo)
Leaving California (Ooo, Ooo)
Leaving California (Ooo, Ooo)
Leaving California (Ooo, Ooo)

That song was very well written and you have an awesome voice! It was very fun to perform it at North Shore.

This song is great. I was really impressed with it right from the beginning. I also loved singing this song. I don't think it would have been the same without my beautiful, booming voice in the background.

Great song. I think we made Sneed's day and should still consider sending him the CD. I have one question. WHo is that strange woman lurking in the background?
