Storybook Princess
The image and the words above are said by James to Ellen on pages 68-69. He created her a portrait of herself, drawing her as a storybook princess and writing down the qualities he liked best about her. Ellen didn't see some of these qualities within herself. Has anyone ever commented you about something that you just didn't really see or understand why they did? If so, did you ever notice that quality again?

I think that complements are few and somewhat hard to come by. Girlfriends may complement me from time to time on things like hair or clothes but it is the complements about ones personality that will truely stick with them one person who always complements me is my mother and I just realized how much I love her for that. Everyone should remember how good it feels when we are complemented and start to complement others more often (I know I should) because after all what goes around comes around!

I like complements regarding my personality the best because they surprise me sometimes. For instance, my mom has complemented me on how I am sensitive to my friends and families needs. Now that she has told me about that quality I have noticed it again.
