Two Katherine Sullivan scholarships were awarded this year to Architecture major Caitlin Dippo, who will spend next year studying in Copenhagen, Denmark, and Political Science and Global Studies major Clara McGlynn, who will study in Oslo, Norway. The Sullivan supports a fifth year of undergraduate study conducted abroad and is open to seniors at any of the University of Minnesota campuses.

University of Minnesota juniors Alexandra Johnson and Maria Lee were awarded scholarships by the Stewart and Morris Udall Foundation for 2015-16. Johnson was recognized in the Native Public Policy category and Lee in the Environment category. This nationally competitive award recognizes 50 outstanding student leaders.
Congratulations to juniors Nathan Klein (Chemistry/Math), Jack O'Leary (Computer Science), Andrew Senger (Math) and Sammy Shaker (Chemistry/Math), who have all been awarded Goldwater Scholarships for 2015-16. The Barry Goldwater Foundation has been recognizing outstanding students in the natural sciences, math and engineering since 1986.

The Fulbright application process for 2016-17 fellowships and assistantships will begin in April. Interested students can learn more about the Fulbright programs by attending one of the following presentations:

The preliminary application for a University endorsement for Rhodes, Marshall, Churchill and Mitchell scholarships is due April 3. Application form, personal statement, transcripts, and three letters of recommendation must be received by 4:30 pm at the Office of National and International Scholarships, 390 Northrop or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
