Just putting in a plug here for another campus event that may be of interest to our community. Let me know if/when you discover other events that you'd like to share with the GLBTA community.
Thanks to everyone who made last night's Minnesota Lynx outing so much fun! The game itself was great and the giveaways, dancers, dunkers, and other antics made it that much more fun. Getting to know colleagues over dinner was also really wonderful.
I hope more of you can make it to our upcoming events!

Out After Work starts up again in September, next week on Thursday, Sept. 17. Join us from 4:00 to 7:00 for Happy Hour at the Newsroom, 990 Nicollet Mall.
If you are attending the P@W outing to see the Minnesota Lynx, we will be gathering for food and beverages prior to the game at 5:00 pm at the Loon Cafe, 500 1st Ave N, just a block or two away from the Target Center. Doors to the Target Center open at 6:00 and the game starts at 7:00.
If you aren't attending the game but want join us at the Loon, please come on down!

My name is Arvid Nelsen and - along with Sue Stirling - I am one of the co-chairs of Pride @ Work, the University of Minnesota GLBTA Employee Network.
Pride @ Work has a full schedule of activities planned for fall semester 2009. The calendar of events will soon be posted on the Pride @ Work website, http://glbta.umn.edu/prideatwork/ and you can get updates on our Facebook page as well (please note that on Facebook there are no spaces around the @).
We encourage you to provide feedback both on Facebook and through comments here, but comments will be moderated.
