Last Week's Definition: Leadership is the act of guiding others in order to achieve something whether it be a goal, or just over all connectedness within a group. A leader brings people together by influencing theme to all want a certain success, and a leader is the one who will lead people to success. They recognize strengths within a group to reach maximum potential.
New Definition: Leadership is the act of guiding others to achieve maximum potential of individuals with whatever they may be doing. A leader is someone people look up to because they have the ability to guide people and hold composure, in times where others may fail to. it is because of a person's ability for people to gravitate towards them and follow them with their guidance that makes someone have good leadership.
Reasoning: My definition hasn't changed a whole lot, expect for the essence of holding composure. With reading Gladwell's "The Art of Failure: Why some people choke and others panic," i realized it is at times when you do not hold composure and do not have confidence in yourself and that you fail at leadership.
