09//10 Northrop Dance and Music Single Tickets On Sale Now

The year of no regrets, buy early and get the best seats in the house.

Entity (WMRD) Ravi Deepres4.jpgThe first season organized by Director, Ben Johnson, has been hailed a "knockout." Receiving buzz from all around the Twin Cities, these tickets are practically flying out of the Ticket Office. A world premiere, Minnesota debuts, the world's most famous choir, and an all-star jazz tribute are just a few of the highlights everyone is raving about.

Here's the deal, if you want to get good seats you need to buy your tickets now - now as in show times are selling out, and a few shows have limited seating available. So look over the performances and find the ones you'll probably never get to see again in this lifetime (ie. Martha Graham's Clytemnestra, Charles Spearin's The Happiness Project, and the revival of rarely seen Balanchine by the Muse herself, Suzanne Farrell, and her troupe). We all know that feeling of missing out on a show. Make sure you don't get left out this year. This is the year of no regrets.

Remember, the more you buy, the more you save. Save up to 30% on a series package and another 20% on any additional tickets.

The Summer at Northrop Concerts Come to a Bittersweet End

Until we meet again next summer, what were your thoughts on the summer ' 09 lineup?

The Summer at Northrop concerts opened and closed with our series' largest turnouts nearing almost 600 people. Delivering an eclectic mix of world music, from reggae, rock-pop, and hip-hop to fiery Spanish, jazz, and corn mash Americana, this series had people on their feet dancing and even hula hooping during their lunch breaks.

Now that the concerts are over and you've had some time to reflect, what are your thoughts? Which bands were your favorites? Is there something you'd like to see that wasn't in the mix this summer?

If you missed out on a show this summer you can still watch the videos and see the pictures here.
