The Fine Art of Nude Photography

Fine nude art photography is the most fascinating and challenging way to make photos.

Consider the following tips to get the best possible nude photography.

The first step in nude photography is to be prepared. Look up some examples in magazines or on the internet of how to pose for the shots you want. Decide on a pose you want and a part of the body you want to focus on before you start shooting. When you know the type of shot you want to achieve you will have greater success in nude photography. You can't simply grab a camera and start taking pictures; rather you need to take some time to properly prepare.

Next consider doing your nude photography is black and white pictures. Even the most beautiful of model you can find will have some blemishes on their skin which can come out in photos. For this reason it can be a good idea to shoot nude photography in black and white. This will completely change the look and feel of your photos. The shots will become more about the shape, lighting and shadows rather than on the body in the shots.

When it comes to nude photography anonymity can work for the photo as well as the model. Often photos with the face turned away or not shown will help make the pictures more photogenic. This doesn't mean the model isn't pretty it is simply the fact that the face can detract from the fine art of the photo. It can also add mystery to your photos. For the first time model this can also make it a little less uncomfortable for them as well.

It is also helpful if the mood in the room is as relaxed and enjoyable as possible. Even under the best of circumstances, nude photography can be a nervous experience for everyone. Even if you are friends with the model it can be a good idea to make the location as relaxed as possible. Make sure the environment is warm and funny this way it will be a lot easier to move beyond the awkward stage and be able to get comfortable with the situation.

Doing nude photography is a great way to expand your photography horizons and learn new experiences. You may decide not to nude photography again or you may choose to continue exploring this fine art form. Either way it can be helpful to use the above tips to get the best possible nude photos.

Cuisine of India: A Lot More Than Just Curry

Curry? Ask a typical individual on the street in India where you can have it. In all probability, you would be met with a blank stare. The reality is, there is no such thing! At least, not as it is packaged by the manufacturers of ready-to-eat foods in the supermarkets of the world. Imagine if French cuisine were to be combined together with German, Italian and Spanish cuisine as European cookery - it may trigger off one more French Revolution! Indians, however, seem at ease that the world refers to their astonishingly diverse cuisine simply as - curry!
So, if curry is not quite Indian cooking, what is? That is a subject worthy of an entire book! For now, let us just say that India is home to as many food styles as its 28 states - & then some more. Weather conditions, locally available resources, culture, foreign invasions and religion have inspired these regional food styles over thousands of years, giving each its distinctive identity. In the southern and coastal regions, rice rules - the ideal light cereal for a warm, humid weather. Large areas of western India are mainly vegetarian thanks to the influence of the Jain religion, while eastern India cannot do without its seafood. Its previous Portuguese rulers heavily influenced the cuisine of Goa in southwestern India. Up north, wheat is more desired, and so is non-vegetarian food. Eating habits are modified to suit the great difference between the seasons - summer recipes are simple, low fat and lightly made, while winter is the time to savor spicier, high calorie meats, whole lentils & protein-rich vegetables for warmth & energy.
There are differences in cooking oils and seasonings too, and the same ingredients prepared in one area taste distinctive in another. South India goes for peanut, sunflower or coconut oil. The sharp aroma of mustard oil distinguishes food from West Bengal in the east, while many people in the north use ghee or clarified butter - in spite the health warnings! Typically, a lentil-based gravy would be seasoned with mustard and dried red chilies in southern India. Large parts of the rest of India, though, use cumin seeds & fresh, green chilies. Ah, gravies - you think maybe you found the curry here? What is common to all Indian dishes is the judicious use of varied spice combos, for their flavoring & digestive properties. Turmeric, used all over India, is a powerful antiseptic. Ginger, garlic, bay leaf and asafetida combat indigestion & flatulence. Coriander and chili powder add flavor and thicken gravies (or curries, if you will!). Fenugreek is favored in hot weather for its cooling effects.
Is all Indian food spicy? Hah, another misunderstanding that needs busting! Blame all those restaurateurs who serve their unsuspecting customers generic, angry looking gravies (curries), with bits of meat and veggies. Truth is, Indian cuisine goes from spicy to subtle, with a whole range in between to please the most sensitive of palates. Typically, a full-course meal is a delightful balanced mix of flavors and aromas (with desserts to die for). Also, it is a flexi-cuisine; experimenting with a lower spice level won't wreck your dinner. You are what you eat - while Indian vegetarian food is believed to induce calm thoughts and sharpen the intellect, meat is thought to stoke the passions. Choose the right ingredients, and with some imagination and some magic you could rustle up a custom curry. Curry, anyone?

Eternity Rings - A Rough Guide

While most amorous couples know well the importance and significance of engagement and wedding rings many are unaware of the symbolism an eternity ring offers. Recent years have seen a resurgence of interest in the rings, which symbolize eternal love or and endless circle of trust, but with a 4,000 year history of giving and receiving eternity rings they are by no means a cunning jeweller's invention.

First given in ancient Egyptian times, eternity rings are made of a continuous circle of metal embedded with stones - usually diamonds - which forms a never ending circle symbolizing the infinite nature of true love. Some say the unbroken loop symbolizes the circle of life, a relationship that will stand the test of time or even eternal life.

Eternity rings can be given at any time, and even can substitute for wedding rings in some relationships. However the most popular occasions are wedding anniversaries - the first and the seventh being the most significant - or on the birth of a child, to symbolize the ongoing relationship between the family.

Eternity rings can be classified as full or half eternity - the former being more traditional, with stones running right around the ring, and the latter only having stones half or part of the way around the ring. While full eternity rings are undoubtedly more spectacular and valuable they are also much harder to resize, and can be less comfortable to wear for long periods, so the half eternity ring is often a more popular choice.

Eternity rings are normally worn on the ring finger where one would wear a wedding ring, and can either be worn in place of a wedding ring, or in an combination with the wedding or engagement ring. Some may like to wear all three at once, while others may like the simplicity of a single ring - at the end of the day it rather depends on the occasion and the outfit!

Vy Tran writes for EternityRings.org.uk, where you can find a beautiful white gold eternity ring for you or your partner..

Traditional Egyptian Hand made

Early Egyptians were driven by gaining favor with the Gods and preparing for the afterlife. Ancient Egyptian arts & crafts developed as a medium to please and honor the Gods rather than as a way to produce functional products for daily use. In ancient Egypt, talented artists were exalted members of the royal hierarchy and their art was very much in demand by pharaoh and the aristocracy. When we think of Egyptian art, we think of the pyramids, Sphinx & reserves of King Tut's tomb. These are all astounding examples of traditional Egyptian artistry. But the primitive Egyptians had other abilities as well. Many of these traditional arts & crafts are still practiced today just as they were in pharaoh's time. The tools, techniques and secrets have been passed down from generation to generation. Few of the major crafts are discussed here.
Egyptian Mother of Pearl: As early as 4500 BC, early Egyptians used mother of pearl as a personal ornament to make themselves more agreeable to the Gods. Fragments of these ornaments, made of inlaid mother of pearl & silver, still exists today. This is made from the inside lining of shells like conch or of oyster pearls. A popular product these days is the crochet necklace or bracelet of layered pearls and beads on a crocheted foundation. Inlaid mother of pearl jewelry gift boxes made of wood or metal are another in demand Egyptian handcraft. Made of abalone shell mother of pearl, hundreds of finely cut pieces are handset into wood or metal one by one so that each decorative box is different from the other. Especially remarkable is the way colors are reflected from the surface as a result of how the fragments of pearl are placed. Mother of pearl is also inlaid into decorative pieces that include silver gilt or gold into their designs.
Egyptian Leather Work: Murals from 4000 BC show Egyptians dressed in tall heels made of flexible leather pieces and held onto the foot with leather ties, while panels of gilded leather work appear in some of the tombs. One of the earliest examples of Egyptian leather work is a 980 BC canopy of appliqued leather. And the Egyptian Mathematical Leather Roll, featuring a table of fraction expansions, dates from the Middle Kingdom period. Egyptian craftsmen now offer us affordable and practical leather goods like wallets, boxes, jackets, cigarette cases, shoes, bags, even dog collars, some accented with gold leaf.
Egyptian Glass Work: Early Egyptians initially used faience, made of quartz, to make glass beads & other decorative glass, but the work evolved with techniques like core, wound and mosaic. Opaque glass beads as early as 2160 BC were designed to simulate precious stones like lapis, lazuli and turquoise. Along with beads were amulets to assist the wearer with finding his/her way in the afterlife. Hand-blown glass vessels do not appear until the reign of Tuthmosis I in the New Kingdom, and early glass vessels were made by captured slaves from the Middle East for exclusive use by Pharaoh and his court. These days, Egyptian glass vessels are available to everyone. Handmade, hand painted perfume bottles are exquisite, bringing to mind the mystery and magic of Arabian Nights. There are also beautiful glass blown candleholders, vases and flasks. These unique vessels, in elegant colors and designs, resemble precious antiques.

The Best Group of Foods for Cardiovascular Health

Nutritionists say that the best foods for preventing and fighting cancer are the cruciferous vegetables or cabbage family vegetables which include cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage, brussels sprouts, kale and collard greens.. Cancer is the second leading cause of death of Americans.

The best food group for helping with cardiovascular problems is berries.
The botanical definition of a berry is a simple fruit produced from a single ovary, such as a tomato. In everyday English, this means a berry is a term for any small edible fruit. I will use the everyday meaning. Heart attacks and strokes are the first and third leading cause of death among Americans.

The Doctrine of Signatures states that an herb, botanical or plant food sometimes gives a clue about what it is good for by its appearance like a walnut looking like a brain or like ginseng root looking like a human body.. Berries are also great at preventing cancer.

Berries are the same color as blood. Oxygenated blood is red, but blood without oxygen can appear blueish or purple. Look at the veins of someone with varicose veins. Besides red berries like cranberries, cherries and raspberries there are darker color berries like acai berries, yumberries, blueberries and aronia berries that are said to improve circulation and strengthen blood vessels.

Strawberries are said to help lower high blood pressure (hypertension) and are a good example of the Doctrine of Signatures. It is red and is shaped like a heart. One newer red berry that is very good for cardiovascular health is the goji berry. Here is what webmd.com says about it:

"Research shows that eating berries -- like blueberries, acai berries, cranberries, strawberries, and cherries -- offers some definite health benefits. Berries like the goji berry are filled with powerful antioxidants and other compounds that may help prevent cancer and other illnesses, including heart disease."

Berries have different anthocyans (a group of phytochemicals) in them that strengthens the inner lining of the arteries. Superfoods Rx (2008) by Steven Pratt, M.D. says (p 28) "The anthocyans also work synergistically with vitamin C and other key antioxidants. They strengthen the capillary (tiny blood vessel) system by promoting the production of quality collagen-- the building block of tissues. This important subclass of flavonoids also promotes vasodilation (widening of arteries) and has an inhibitory effect on platelet aggregation-- an aspirin-like effect on blood clot formation."

Here is information on bilberries. It says that it is a vasodilator so it widens the blood vessels so the blood pressure is lower. It is a rich source of anthocyanidins, which gives it the unique ability to stabilize and protect collagen stores. This helps it to prevent capillary leakage and hemorrhage.

Bilberry is currently being used to treat vascular and blood disorders, and is a main ingredient in the treatment of many visual problems. It has even been proven effective for varicose veins, thrombosis, diabetes, macular degeneration, and angina.

Containing over 15 different anthocyanosides, bilberry protects the veins and arteries, as it boosts a great deal of physiological processes that results in the improved integrity of capillary walls. Common problems with arteries include angina, congestive heart failure, intermittent claudication, peripheral arterial disease (PAD), strokes and heart attacks.

A red berry that is great for cardiovascular health is is the red hawthorn berry. It is not sold as a berry in stores. I have only seen it sold in capsules or as a tea. Most herbalists know that it is the ultimate herb for heart health or cardiovascular health among the American herbs that lowers blood pressure and dissolves cholesterol.

Benefits of using Proxy Servers

When people speak about web proxy servers they usually mean a computer which forwards web sessions from a client computer to a webserver. The client computer connects to the proxy server and requests a resource from a remote web server.

In addition to higher anonymity by hiding your identity the use of a proxy servers for surfing the internet provides much more important security features such as the removal of pictures or the encryption of the internet addresses you are surfing on. Cookies can be blocked, so analysis of surfing behaviour is no longer possible. Another important advantage is the removal of javascript code, which is often used to load remote third-party applications into the website you are visiting.

Web proxies often get blocked by different filter techniques very fast. If you choose a new proxy you can be sure that the proxy site you are using is almost unknown to the public and therefore most likely not blocked by censorship filters.

A web proxy should not tend to be careless, because anonymity does not mean that your traffic will be encrypted. Therefore you should never enter sensitive user data like e-mail addresses or passwords into forms, if a proxy is used while surfing the world wide web.

Keystone of Buddhist Religion: The 4 Noble Truths

Buddhism is a very practical religion that does not promote deification & theology. It is about straightforward and simple truths which, if pursued in everyday life, can help people conquer misery & attain an innate sense of happiness. Buddhism is also about respecting other living beings, living peacefully with everyone and being righteous in our actions, conduct and thoughts.
The teachings of the Buddha are based|founded on what he encountered and learnt before he attained enlightenment. After he achieved enlightenment, he taught people how to reach at that enlightenment via their own experience and by following some practical teachings. The very character of Buddhism makes it so distinctive from other religions. Buddhism believes that instead of memorizing certain doctrines and dogmas and following them to the letter, one should realize the truths of life by practicing the Eightfold Path, which is the broad summary of Buddhist practices.
While Buddhism does not encourage blindly following rules & fundamentals, it is important to know the teachings and philosophies of Buddha to understand the discipline that Buddhism is all about. The 4 Noble Truths are the very foundation of this.
The Truth of Suffering: According to this instruction, all humans will go through suffering in life. Ailment and death are inevitable and so is emotional pain. There is a credence in reincarnation and the Buddha says that we should all know that in our future lives we will go though suffering. If we can realize this, then we can use our present|existing life to get freedom from future sufferings. On the other hand, if we do not grasp this straight-forward fact, then we just might waste our present life trying to achieve happiness for this one life, instead of freedom for the countless lives that follow.
The Truth of the Cause of Suffering: Buddha believes that the source of suffering is attachment. We try to find happiness in possessions that have a certain form and this leads to additional suffering because things with a certain form do not have permanence. We also search for pleasure outside our beings; but even if we find someone to make us happy, we never seem fulfilled. When we get close to something or someone, or are not satisfied with what we have, then this causes frustration, which leads to suffering.
The Truth of the End of Suffering: This article of judiciousness says that we can finish suffering completely by freeing ourselves from any kind of attachment and craving. We have to stop clinging to others, ideas and objects. We can accomplish detachment by removing the main cause of our suffering. Buddha encourages people to attain a state of Nirvana or freedom from the complexities and worries of life.
The Truth of the Path That Frees Us from Suffering: Here, Buddha prescribes following an inner spiritual track that will show us the way out of suffering. Following the Eightfold Path will lead us to true happiness and liberation as well as enlightenment. Through the Eightfold Path, Buddha teaches people how to end suffering by following eight guidelines. According to him, we should follow right speech, action, livelihood, concentration, view, intention, mindfulness and right effort.

Embody Chair Review

If there's one disadvantage of having a nine-to-five job in a snazzy office, that is none other than having to sit in front of your computer for most of your working hours. Without even knowing it, your body - especially your lower back - is experiencing undue stress from having to sit in a chair for too long a time.

This is where ergonomic chairs come in. It's a good thing that ergonomics - or the science of the relationship between man and his working environment - has been developed. By using ergonomic chairs, you can rest assured that you will still be able to maintain a good posture even while sitting down for a long time.

Learn More about the Embody Chair by Herman Miller

They felt that the Aeron chair is not yet the epitome of superior ergonomics - which is why they have spent the company's resources in designing the Embody chair. Designed by Jeff Weber and Bill Stumpf, the Embody chair was released to the media in 2008 and was made available for public consumption in 2009.

So how does the Embody chair embody the modern office worker? Basically, the modern office worker wants a combination of looks, form and function. These and more are the features that you will get to enjoy with the Embody chair.

It also has no hard or rigid frames because of the chair's flexed edges - so you will not experience that feeling of your lower body falling asleep on you from sitting down on a chair for too long.

3. It conforms to the shape and movement of your body.
What makes the Embody chair truly unique is the pixilated support feature wherein a 'matrix of pixels' create a surface for your seat and back which conforms to the natural shape and movement of your body.

As you can see, the Embody chair offers a great set of benefits to your health - and they all occur while all you are doing is sitting down!

Benefits of Buying Your Embody Chair from an Authorized Dealer

Cyberspace regulars and bloggers have given various praises for the Embody chair. Some have even gone so far as to say that the Embody chair is the "Aston Martin" of office chairs. With a market price of $1600, it really lives up to its name. With that hefty price tag, the Embody office chair is surely an investment.

These Embody chairs are available in three countries: United States, Canada and Mexico via dealers and retailers duly authorized by Herman Miller, Inc., maker of the world renowned Embody chair. When purchasing an Embody chair, one should go to an authorized dealer to ensure that the product that he or she will receive is brand new, all original and damage-free upon delivery. Since an authorized dealer is chosen via a stringent process, the consumer can rest assured that no fraud or other forms of misleading acts will occur when he or she transacts with an authorized Herman Miller Embody chair dealer.

Another benefit of transacting with an authorized dealer is the 12-year warranty that only authorized dealers can give. A company that is not authorized by Herman Miller to sell or distribute the Embody chair cannot offer the 12-year warranty. So, even if you pay the same price, you are basically being short changed since you don't receive the warranty that comes with your chair and therefore have to pay for any part or service you may require for its repair and maintenance. The said 12-year warranty is a standard among Herman Miller products. During the said time frame, your Embody chair will be serviced at the company's expense as long as the defects don't lie on natural variations in the materials such as wood, marble, titanium etc. If you transact with a company with no authority to sell the Embody chair, you will have to pay for all parts and services your chair might require. The said warranty is evidenced by a warranty label that will be given to you upon purchase. This warranty label contains the factory order number, born-on date and make and model of your Embody chair. Upon availing of the Herman Miller 12-year full warranty, you need only to present the warranty label and the utmost service will be given to your chair. Again, with regards to the said warranty, only an authorized dealer can service your Embody chair properly.

Yet another advantage of buying from an authorized dealer is the ease of communication and access. Since most authorized dealers have websites and are spread out over three countries, you can easily find one near you. If, on the other hand, you do not live near an authorized dealer, you can still transact through their websites and have the product delivered to your country in a short period of time.

Lastly, it is important to transact with an authorized dealer in order to get up-to-date and correct information on the product you wish to purchase. Sure, you can get these on the internet but nothing beats having your questions answered by an expert.

Embody Chair and Aeron Chair Comparison

The Embody chair and the Aeron chair are both products of world renowned furniture design company, Herman Miller. Both have managed to gain strong followings in cyberspace, in business and other sectors. Both have received several acclamations and recognitions.

These two Herman Miller products are ergonomic and are meant to counteract the effects of sitting for long hours on end. These two products move with the user's body and perform several functions and provide various benefits that regular office or computer chairs cannot do.

Though the Aeron chair and Embody chair may have certain similarities, they do have their differences. First off, the Aeron chair has reached an iconic status by being placed in the Museum of Modern Art's permanent collection and by receiving a gold award in the Designs of the Decade category for office furniture from the Industrial Designers Society of America and Business Week, which the Embody chair, although it has received recognitions, hasn't been able to do. Secondly, technology used in both chairs are different. The Aeron chair has a Pellicle Suspension System which fills the space between the lower end of the spine and the chair in order to properly align the user's spine. The Embody chair, on the other hand, has the Pixelated Support technology comprised of 56 flexors and 93 plastic pixels that makes the chair similar to the human spine and aids the chair to move with the user's every movement. Their looks are also different although both are eye catching. The Embody chair, however, has a more urban look and looks more fun since it comes in papaya and black and the user can choose from a variety of shades, textures and colors.

The main difference probably would lie in the chairs' sizes. The Aeron chair comes in 3 sizes while the Embody chair doesn't, but everything about it can be adjusted from the arms, to the seat, to the tilt and what not. This is probably the Embody chair's strongest point since it can accommodate and fit all types of body shapes and sizes while the Aeron chair can only accommodate and fit a certain body type depending on the size.

Most consumers, though, find that the back support that the Aeron chair gives is limited to the shoulder blades. This was addressed in the Embody chair's design which narrow backrest thereby giving continuous and full support for one's back.

All in all, though the Embody chair hasn't reached the iconic status of the Aeron chair, it is definitely worth looking into. It is definitely a significant improvement over its predecessor. It's major plus point would be the various knobs and buttons that allows the user to adjust almost every part of the chair in order to achieve the most comfortable position he or she desires. The narrow backrest which gives continuous and full support for the back is also another advantage of the Embody chair over its predecessor. Even with a price of more than a thousand dollars, the Embody chair is still a worthwhile investment.
