Cholesterol and Diet

With the increasingly unhealthy diets of Americans nowadays, bad Cholesterol continues to plague many people. Although a person's cholesterol can greatly be affected by their genetics and heredity, their diet can greatly impact their cholesterol as well. A good Cholesterol Diet includes only six to seven servings of grains, and the diet should try to limit the amount of trans fats and carbohydrates that are consumed. Trans fats and carbs are notorious for causing high cholesterol, and are most commonly found in greasy food (fast food) Eating other obviously healthy food, like veggies and fruits, can also help cholesterol.

But even with a perfect diet, if your genetically unlucky and have high cholesterol, other alternatives may be needed.
