Sleeping Disorders 101

Sleeping Disorders come in many different variations, and affect millions of people when they try to sleep each night. Whether you need too much sleep, can't fall asleep, or can't stay awake during the day, you could possibly have a sleeping disorder.

Intrinsic Dyssomnia is a complicated sounding medical term that means you have sleeping problems because of physiological problems. So outside sources, like drug addictions or stress, are not the cause of your sleeping problems. Some type of treatment can be required to treat Intrinsic Dyssomnia, since there is something actually wrong physically with you.

If you have a sleeping problem that you think is more than just temporary, you may want to see a specialist about it.
